What is included
In a warehouse, the height and layout determine which images are usable. A camera against the roof shows a lot of floor space, but little detail of someone near a roll door. Stands and machines can also change visibility. Therefore, we choose separate positions for overview and for passages where people or goods pass.
A high camera can be useful for overview, but a face becomes harder to recognize from above. Therefore, at staff doors and goods distribution we choose a more focused position. We deliberately designate certain zones to receive only an overview. This prevents the expectation that every detail can later be taken from a large hall shot.
At an open roll-down door, the outdoor light can be much stronger than inside. We assess both the entrance and the route to storage. A truck at the dock changes the lighting situation and can block the view. Therefore, the adjustment is linked to normal operations, not only to an empty hall.
The distance to the recorder or network cabinet and the existing cable infrastructure determine the connection plan. We measure routes and assess the required PoE power per device. For multiple buildings, other connections may be needed. The chosen route remains accessible for maintenance and is clearly labeled.
New mounts, intermediate walls, or machines can make an old camera setup less usable. We will discuss which expansion you expect and reserve where appropriate capacity. With an existing installation, we will start with a zone-by-zone image control. Replacing all equipment is not necessarily necessary if the current components still fit well onto the target.
