What is included
You want an extra camera at the garage, a new entrance, or an expansion of the business. A free network connection would then seem sufficient, but recorder channels, power, and storage must also match. We will first inventory what you have and which functions you want to retain. Then, a proposal for reuse and any possible modifications will follow.
A switch may have connections while the recorder has already used its maximum number of cameras. Incoming bandwidth and supported resolutions can also form a limit. Therefore, we are examining the exact recording model and current settings. Ordering new cameras only based on the number of visible connections may be disappointing.
A camera can transmit images while smart detection, audio, or configuration are not fully supported. Compatibility is checked per model and desired feature. When your existing app is important, we also test adding, live viewing, and searching within it. The goal is a cohesive system that you can continue to use.
Using more video streams usually requires more storage. We calculate what the expansion means for the desired storage period and discuss recording schedules and quality. Night operation can also require more power, for example when infrared is activated. Therefore, an installation is not only evaluated with all cameras in everyday use.
Send the model numbers, the current number of cameras and photos of the new recording location. Indicate which parts are now not sufficiently visible. Do not provide passwords in a quotation form. We plan any access or inspection through an agreed procedure and specify which existing parts can remain.

Clear answers
This depends on the maximum capacity of the recorder. A recorder with only four recording channels cannot automatically record a fifth stream.
Sometimes yes, but image compatibility does not mean that all features work. We check, for example, recording, detection, audio and app control.
This depends on the additional video data and desired storage time. We recalculate this before we propose a disk or new recorder.
