What is included
The best location for a camera is not always next to an existing cable. Therefore, we examine the route from camera to recorder or network cabinet before we start drilling. Sometimes it can be done through a crawl space or existing conduit; sometimes a visible gutter is the practical choice. We arrange the finishing beforehand, so you know what will remain visible on the facade.
We will inspect the meter cabinet, attic, garage, and any crawl space. Reusing an existing route may require work, but only if accessibility and cable condition are suitable. Not every gap or conduit is accessible. Send photos of both ends and the space between them in advance; they provide more insight than just the distance on a floor plan.
With PoE, power and data are transmitted through the same network cable. This often makes a power outlet next to the camera unnecessary, but the switch or recorder must provide the necessary power. We check the length, connections, and load with the chosen camera. For longer distances, a different network configuration may be required.
An outdoor camera can be weatherproof while a loose plug is not. Therefore, cable entry, junction box, and sealing are part of the installation. Where a cable runs underground, we will follow a suitable protected route. We will arrange for connections to remain accessible, so that maintenance does not immediately cause new breakwork.
It is not possible to completely make the installation invisible in every property. Therefore, please describe in advance what is important: no cable over the facade, the color of the gutter, or the preservation of existing painting. The proposal includes the chosen route, passage, and included finishing work. Unexpected obstacles will be discussed before any additional work is carried out.

Clear answers
That depends on the construction and accessible routes. We look at the possibilities in advance and indicate where a gutter, box or passage remains visible.
With a suitable PoE camera, the network cable also provides power. The connected switch or recorder must have the correct PoE support and sufficient power.
We check the type, condition, connections and length. Only after that check is it clear whether the cable is suitable for the intended new system.
