IP Camera Installatie handles personal data carefully and only for specific purposes. This privacy policy explains what data we use, why we use it and what rights you have.

What data do we process?
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number and billing or delivery address.
- Order details: products, quantities, prices, payment status, delivery method and installation appointments.
- Account details: sign-in status, customer number, order history and support requests.
- Contract evidence: accepted terms, contract snapshot, signed signature, signatory name, timestamp, document hash, IP address and browser information.
- Subscription evidence: Mollie and SEPA statuses, advance direct debit notices, service start, cancellations and online withdrawal requests.
- Technical data: IP address, browser information, security logs and cookie preferences.
Why do we use this data?
We use data to process orders and agreements, record evidence of electronic signatures, handle payments and advance direct debit notices, administer service start, cancellation and withdrawal, deliver products, schedule installation, provide support, handle warranties, prevent fraud and meet accounting and tax obligations.
Legal bases
Processing is based on performing a contract, legal obligations, legitimate interests in security and service, or consent for analytics and marketing cookies.
Sharing with service providers
We share data only when necessary. Our providers include Cloudflare for hosting and security, Mollie for online payments, subscriptions and SEPA mandates, Ponto for importing and reconciling manual bank transfers, Amazon SES for transactional email, and delivery, administration and installation partners where needed for your order. We make appropriate agreements with processors. We do not store full card details; for bank transfers, we keep only the transaction details needed for payment, verification and accounting.
Where a provider processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, we use a valid transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
Functional cookies are needed for the shop, including the cart, sign-in, security and cookie preferences. They are always active.
Analytics and marketing tools from Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics/Ads and Meta Pixel load only when the relevant tags are configured and you consent. They may process IP address, device, browser, page and interaction data for analytics, conversion measurement and advertising. You can decline without losing access to the shop.
You can change your choice at any time using the control at the bottom of each page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
Retention periods
We generally retain order, contract, invoice and payment records, including signature evidence, for seven years for administration, performance and potential legal claims. We generally delete or anonymize incomplete requests and contact messages within two years after handling is complete. We retain account, installation, support and warranty details while the account or customer relationship remains active, and afterwards only as needed for warranty, security or a possible dispute. We keep security and abuse logs for as short a time as possible, generally no longer than 12 months.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encrypted connections, access controls, session security and monitoring for abuse.
Your rights
You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time.
