What is included
Sometimes you don't need a whole system, just one camera in the right place. Or you already have four and want a fifth one on the driveway. When installing, everything comes down to height, angle of view, and a neat cable route: a camera that hangs two meters high provides usable coverage but not a recognizable face. We determine the position on site and mount the camera so that the facade looks sleek.
The higher the camera, the larger the overview and the smaller the chance you'll recognize someone. Therefore, for a front door, gate, or checkout we hang it lower and aim more directly. For a driveway or area we hang it higher and use a wider lens. In many situations we combine both viewpoints.
Wires are routed wherever possible through crawl space, cavity, cable conduit, or existing conduit. Where that is not possible, we use a color- and size-matched conduit instead of a loose cable over the stone. Holes are sealed so that no moisture comes behind the wall panel.

Clear answers
For recognition, we usually hang them at 2.5 to 3 meters. Higher up provides more overview but less detail in the faces. At an entrance or door, we consciously choose a lower vantage point.
Aim a camera as much as possible at your own property. When a section of public road inevitably comes into view, you can shield it with a privacy mask. We recommend that we agree on this during the filming.
