What is included
A camera above the front door does not automatically see what is happening next to the car. A parked delivery van, hedge, or open gate can exactly cover the important area. Therefore, for driveway surveillance, we separately monitor the entrance, parking space, and walking route to home. You decide whether you want to primarily receive a notification, view an event, or have visitors recognizable in the image.
A wide view shows the entire driveway, but makes the face at the end small. We choose a landmark where visitors come close. On a long driveway, a second camera at the gate can provide more than higher resolution from the house. We also test what remains when two cars are parked side by side.
A static daytime image tells little about a car arriving in the dark. During the adjustment, we pay attention to overexposure, movement, and reflections of license plates. A standard overview camera does not guarantee readable license plates. If that is your goal, we will evaluate a separate license plate camera with a focused lens and appropriate lighting.
We place the detection zone inside the driveway and leave the street out of sight wherever possible. If the system supports personal and vehicle detection, we set them up separately. The moment you arrive home and the times you want to receive alerts are part of the setting. A privacy mask and a detection zone have different functions; we check both.
Send a photo from the facade and a photo from the entrance. Indicate where the power, router, and any recorder are located. The cable distance, a standalone garage, and groundwork can change the installation, so the proposal therefore specifies the number of cameras, the connection, storage, and finishing before we make an appointment for installation.

Clear answers
In a short, open driveway, that can be enough. If you park one after another or there are tall vehicles, we will first test which zones disappear from view.
Sometimes a license plate is visible, but reliable recognition requires a suitable distance, lens, angle and lighting. We design this as a separate function.
A properly set up local camera system can continue recording as long as the camera, network and recorder have power. Viewing outside from your phone can then fail.
