What is included
A license plate that is incidentally readable in camera footage is not yet vehicle identification. For automatic recognition and retrieval, the camera, position, settings, and software must work together. We start with the location where vehicles pass by and the purpose of the registration. Then we assess whether an ANPR setup at that intersection is feasible.
An overview camera shows the car and surroundings. A license plate camera focuses on a small area where the plate appears sufficiently large. That focused setting can make the rest of the image dark. Often, both images are useful: one to search for and one to understand the event. We explain which result the chosen combination supports.
A slanted entrance, multiple lanes, or a sharp turn can make recognition more difficult. We measure the position where the license plate appears in the image and compare it with the specifications of the proposed model. A high megapixel value alone does not resolve an unfavorable angle or a too small plate in the image.
Closing times, lighting and infrared must match the passing vehicles. We test not only a stationary car during the day, but also the conditions for which you need the system. The results and any limitations are recorded. We do not promise flawless recognition of every plate in all weather conditions.
First determine which function is needed. Only searching for license plates requires something different from a list that opens a barrier gate. Couplings and licenses are checked in advance. License plates and access details may contain personal data; the administrator determines the purpose, retention period and rights before we provide the technical equipment.

Clear answers
A readable image in a video fragment is possible, but automatic recognition and search requires appropriate camera and software functions. We check the exact model.
This can be done with a suitable setup and adjustment. Headlights, reflection, speed and the distance to the plate must be assessed during a practical test.
Only with a supported and correctly configured connection. We also test what happens with an unknown license plate, a recognition error or a connection failure.
