We design the coverage around entrances, driving routes, and pedestrian exits. We distinguish between general overview and points where recognition is needed.
Cameras at entry points and traffic junctions help reconstruct a route. A wide view per floor can add clarity, but columns remain obstacles. We will discuss in advance which parking spaces should be directly visible. Full coverage of each vehicle requires a different arrangement than just access monitoring.
On the incline, sunlight and headlights can overpower the image. For license plate recognition, we will examine distance, direction of travel, speed, and lighting separately. A camera that covers the entire entrance may be less suitable for a readable license plate. Therefore, both functions will receive their own assessment in the plan.
After parking, people walk to a lift, staircase, or exit. That route is often more important in an incident than the view of the roadway. We assess the camera angle when doors are open and how lighting responds to movement. We configure the installation so that unnecessary images of adjacent private spaces are avoided.
