What is included
At a homeowners' association, camera security covers the spaces that belong to everyone: the entrance, the hallways, the storage room, and the garage. There are usually no burglaries in homes, but rather stolen bicycles, damage, dumped trash, and unauthorized people walking inside with someone. The problem isn't the technology, but the agreement: who can watch, how long we can keep them, and who decides. Our proposal makes that explicit.
Cameras in a complex may be aimed at common areas, not at the front door of individual residents or at a private balcony. That boundary determines the viewing angles. Therefore, we pre-draw in advance for each camera what is visible in the frame, so that residents at the meeting know exactly where they are agreeing with.
The HOA decides, not one resident and not the installer. You will receive a proposal with camera specifications, costs per apartment, management agreements and storage period, in a format that can be treated as an agenda item. If decisions are made in phases, we will start with the area where most reports come from.
