What is included
In a garden, the scenery changes with the seasons. Leaves grow in front of the lens, a parasol screens the back door, and moving branches cause alerts. Therefore, we start with the route that can lead someone to the home. A focused camera at the gate or storage area is often more useful than a wide-angle view from the roof edge.
Mark the entrances to the garden: a side path, gate, shed door, or passage between garages. You can place a camera aimed at that area so that no one appears only as a small figure at the back. We also assess whether an open gate blocks the view. The camera footage should remain as focused as possible on your own garden.
A nearby white wall or roof edge can reflect infrared light. This makes the foreground bright and the rest of the garden dark. We choose sufficient distance from such surfaces and check the lens for spiderwebs and water droplets. When using color night vision, we check which ambient light is available and whether additional light is practical.
Wi-Fi at the back of the garden is often weaker than indoors. Therefore, test it at the final installation location, with windows and doors closed. Where possible, we will use a wired connection. For a standalone outbuilding, we will use cable protection, conduit, and include the distance in the plan, so that a connection works not only on a dry summer day.
A garden with trees requires targeted detection. We limit the zone to the walking route and check with a real walk whether anyone is noticed. Then we examine whether the recording before and after the event contains sufficient context. You will receive explanations on looking back, preserving a fragment, and adjusting reporting hours.

Clear answers
Choose a place with a view of the entrance and the route to the back door. Check that place with the gate open and the garden as you use it daily.
A smaller detection zone and person detection can help if your camera supports this. We test the settings; no system filters every movement correctly.
This can be done if the ground is suitable and the power supply and connection are reliable. We will include the cable route and outdoor finishing in the installation proposal.
