What you need to set up before you make a report
A support request by email can quickly get lost among other messages. Therefore, it's better to save your report in a place where everything stays together: what you reported, what we responded to, which photos are included, and which step is still open. Then you don't have to repeat your story if a colleague takes over. Immediately include the things we otherwise need to ask about: which camera or recorder it is, since when it has been working, and whether the problem is also present if you watch it at home on your own network instead of via the app on the way. A photo of the image or of the recorder often saves an entire email exchange. The more concrete the report, the sooner we can say whether it is an setting, a cable, or a defective part. It's handy to have: the camera or recorder model, when the system was installed, and what has changed since then on your network or in your home. With a wired system, video and power are transmitted via PoE over the same network cable, so also mention if the cabling, switch or internet subscription has been worked on. If you want to expand, let us know what is currently connected, and we can together see what fits.
