Security camera with recorder

A NVR centrally stores images from network cameras. This allows you to view, search, and manage multiple cameras from a single timeline.

With a complete system, that is more manageable than individual SD cards. The recording remains locally available and is not necessarily dependent on a cloud subscription.

The number of cameras, the resolution, the frame rate, and the recording format determine how quickly the disk fills up. Continuous recording requires more space than simply recording when relevant detection occurs.

We calculate the storage for the desired viewing period. The recorder then automatically transfers the oldest images.

Some recorders power cameras directly via PoE ports. For larger or distributed installations, a separate PoE switch can be logical.

The choice depends on cable routes, expansion plans and network management. Both solutions can be reliable when capacity and configuration are correct.

Do not place a recorder in an unnecessarily visible or easily accessible location. Ensure that there is ventilation, power, and a place where maintenance can still be performed.

Use separate accounts and only grant authorized users access to recordings. For companies, clear administrator rights are even more important.

A recorder can record locally while you watch and search live via app or computer, and internet outage does not have to stop local recording immediately.

Upon delivery, we test timing, recording, camera naming, and reviewing. This way, you know how to find relevant footage before an incident occurs.
