The practical signal
A user can see a camera and yet later not find a clip. The cause is often in a schedule or disk status, not directly in the camera recording.
Live image only proves that a camera is accessible; recording additionally requires a working channel, schedule, storage and writing function.

First, check whether there is actually no recording or whether it is being searched at the wrong time, channel, or event. View disk status and recording plan side by side.
Restore the demonstrated missing connection and leave other settings untouched. Make channel names clearer if the search problem is operational rather than technical.
Create a test event and search it back in the timeline. Also check if a period without an event is considered part of the appointment's continuous recording.
Live connection and storage action are separate functions.
This depends on the recorder settings and disk status; investigate this carefully.
