What is included
Not everyone wants to open the door via a phone. A video doorbell gives you a fixed screen in the hallway or kitchen: you press the button, you see who is there and you open the door. No account, no notification that you miss because your device is on silent. For many people that is exactly the reason to consciously not choose a smart doorbell, or to combine both.
A video phone is predictable. There is no subscription, no account, and no dependence on a cloud platform that changes its terms tomorrow. For older people, practice rooms, and homes with a lot of visitors, a button on the wall is simply faster than taking a phone out of your pocket.
Most homes still have a telephone from the construction period. That wiring is often suitable for a modern video phone, so replacement does not mean cutting the wiring. We check the existing cable, adjust the wall opening and mount the new monitor snugly in the existing location.
