What is included
Water, moving boats, and shifting light make a yacht harbor a difficult environment for cameras. A wide-angle shot over the mooring areas also captures a lot of movement without clearly identifying who is entering a dock. Therefore, we first select the entrances and transfer points where a usable image is needed. Then we review the framing, connections, and management from the harbor office.
Gates, walkways, and access to a dock are often better control points than the water surface itself. This brings visitors closer and makes their walking route predictable. We determine at each point whether overview or recognition is needed. A camera for terrain security does not replace supervision of safety on the water.
A vibrating mast can disturb image quality and detection. A waterproof camera housing does not automatically protect a poorly finished connector. We assess the base, cable entry, mounting and accessibility for cleaning. We check the suitability for the present moisture or salt load on the product specifications.
Lamps, onboard lighting, and reflections on the water can cause significant brightness differences. We arrange the access centrally and limit reflective surfaces where possible. The test involves a person actually walking onto the dock. Only a clear photo of an empty harbor is sufficient to evaluate the system.
In the event of an incident, you will need to be able to start with the time and access route. We assign recognizable names to the cameras and check that the clock is running correctly. User rights for harbor masters and other staff are set apart. Also agree on who may export footage and how access is revoked in the event of a staff change.

Not every outdoor model is suitable for the same moisture or salt load. We assess the housing, mounting and connections based on the location and specifications.
This can be done with a suitable network and sufficient recording capacity. We inventory the distance, power supply and desired camera images per scaffold.
