What is included
An alarm system only works properly if the zones are correct. If you secure the exterior shell, the alarm goes off as soon as someone opens a door or window, and you can simply walk around inside. If you secure the interior space, the system only responds when someone is already inside. Most properties require a combination. We determine that zone plan before we choose detectors, so your system doesn't go off every week for the wrong reason.
Shell protection with magnetic contacts on doors and windows detects a break-in at the earliest possible moment, even before anyone enters. This is convenient when you are home or when pets are around. Space protection with motion sensors is cheaper and logical in spaces that are empty outside working hours. In practice, we combine both.
An alarm that only makes a siren sound is a siren. It is important to know who is being warned and what they then do. We determine who receives a notification, in what order, and which notifications are passed on or not. If you want follow-up from professionals, we connect the system to a police station.

No. Modern systems are wireless: detectors are mounted or screwed in and operate for years on batteries. Only the hub is connected to power and the network.
