What is included
Ajax is intentionally easy to install, and that's precisely why you often see in practice many systems that work technically but are not properly configured. Detectors outside range, no backup in case of internet outage, or a system that is set up on an old employee's account. An installer mainly adds to these points: measuring coverage, choosing the correct hub, and leaving the configuration so that you remain in control of your system.
The hub communicates wirelessly with every detector; that range depends on walls, floors, and metal structures. We measure signal strength at each mounting point instead of estimating, and place a booster when a detector is on the edge. We also monitor what happens during internet or power outages, so alerts continue to reach.
If you are on a system that has been set up by someone else, we first check who has the administrative rights. Then we review the zones, users and notifications and assign the account to your name. You can then simply expand with additional detectors on the existing hub.

Clear answers
That can be done technically. An installer mainly adds value to the zone plan, the measurement of range, the settings for exit and the correct recording of management rights.
Yes. We check the configuration, assign management to your name, and expand, if necessary, with additional detectors on the same hub.
Depending on the type of detector, a set of batteries can last for several years. The system automatically detects when a battery is almost empty, long before it dies out.
The hub has its own battery and can send notifications via the mobile network. We test that backup at delivery.
