Camera shows stripes in the image

Compare the lights on and, if that is safe, with those lights off. If the tires only appear under artificial light, then the alignment between the light source and the illumination is a point of investigation. Note which lights or dimmers are on. Do not change the illumination, resolution, and camera settings at the same time: otherwise, the view of which change has an effect will disappear.

Check the direct image on the recorder and the display in the app. Also view a saved fragment of the same moment. If only one phone shows the deviation, the display on that device deserves attention. If the pattern is also in the recording, you need to go back further in the image chain.

Cameras can have settings for flicker reduction and the frequency of lighting. Available options vary by model. Compare the selected mode with the lighting situation and also test moving people: a setting that reduces the amount of light can give a different balance in exposure. Do not take a setting from a manual of another model without control over it.

Note if other cameras on the same recorder are experiencing problems at the same time. A shared problem may have a different starting point than one deviating channel. For a wired system, have connections and power inspected, and for an analog system also check the used video signal. An Ethernet plug and a coaxial connection do not require the same test.

Repeat the original situation with the same lights, the same viewing angle, and a short recording. Save a clip before and after the adjustment. Ask for help with the camera model, the type of connection, and those two examples; this will show which deviation is still remaining.
