If you have already purchased a camera, an installation request begins with the inspection of that equipment. Mounting on the wall, power supply, connection to a recorder, and setting up the app are all different tasks. With a clear inventory, what is feasible with your camera can be assessed.
Take a photo of the label and indicate whether the device is new or previously used. Add the manual or official product information when available. Only a photo of the exterior does not clearly show the required power and features. Also indicate which accessories are actually included.
Note the recorder or NAS model, free channels, and the intended cable route. If you do not have an recording device yet, please describe how you want to store and view the footage. The new camera cannot be declared compatible based on only the same brand. Request a review of the connection and the features you want to use.
For a used device, it should be clear who is authorized to activate and manage it. An old account linkage may restrict usage. Arrange transfer through the supported procedure with the previous administrator. Do not share passwords in the first request; however, indicate whether you can access the management interface yourself.
Make sure to note whether the order only covers installation or also cabling, configuration, and user instructions. Ask how a defective or missing part is handled during installation. Make a distinction between the installation work provided and the support from the manufacturer where you purchased the device, without making a general warranty claim about it beforehand.
Do you only want live footage, or also recording, notifications, and shared access? Enable those features in the request. After execution, allow a new recording to be retrieved and check the normal operation. Save the configured channels and performed tasks with your purchase details, so that later it is clear how the camera is connected.
