Audio can provide additional context, but is more privacy sensitive than images and therefore requires explicit purpose and management.
What you calculate or measure
Determine why sound would be needed, which room it is about, and who can hear or export recordings. Also check whether the camera and recorder support the desired audio route.
The intervention that fits
Turn on audio only when the target, information, and access are carefully arranged. Use a camera angle or other measure that is less intrusive where possible.
Proof that it works
Test whether audio is actually recorded and is only available for authorized users. Reassess the setting when use of the space changes.
