The Imou Rex 3D PetCam is specially designed for pet lovers who want to be able to track their dog or cat anywhere. Thanks to accurate detection of both humans and pets, you receive real-time alerts as soon as something happens. Whether you want to know if your cat is jumping onto the counter again, or just want to talk to your dog when he barks — this smart camera gives you peace of mind and control.
Sharp image, day and night
With the 3K resolution, you capture every detail. Thanks to H.265 image compression, storage space is efficiently used without loss of quality. In the dark, the camera automatically switches to infrared night vision, with clear black and white images.
Accurate detection of people and pets
The Imou Rex 3D features advanced detection capabilities to accurately detect both people and pets. Upon detection, you will receive a real-time notification on your mobile phone. In the app, you have the option to set up detection zones. For example, if the cat comes to a location that is not permitted, you will be immediately notified.
Abnormal sound detection
Abnormal sounds are both detected by the Imou Rex 3D. For example, is your dog barking or your cat meowing? Receive an immediate alert to check what's going on.
Two-way
React immediately to a observed event using the built-in microphone and speaker. Handle matters promptly if you are not home yourself. Or simply say goodbye to your beloved four-legged companion.
Automatic follow
When detected, the movements will be automatically followed thanks to the rotating lens's rotating and tilting function. The Rex 3D rotates up to 335 degrees and tilts up to 80 degrees to provide complete coverage of an indoor space.
Imou Sense
The Rex 3D features extremely accurate and smart detection thanks to Imou Sense. IMOU SENSE™ is a self-developed All-algorithm under the Imou brand. This algorithm makes it possible, among other things, to accurately detect people, vehicles, pets, and packages. Thanks to its powerful computational base, the response time of lMOU SENSE™ to detect is only 0.02 seconds; faster than blinking once to detect and then sending a notification immediately.
installation
Download the Imou Life app (iOS, Android or Windows) and create an Imou account. After logging in, select the “”””+”””” symbol in the top right corner of the Imou app to add a camera. Scan the QR code on the camera and follow the steps in the app. The camera has an built-in 2.4 GHz WiFi chip. Additionally, the camera also has an Ethernet port for wired connection. Then select the Wi-Fi network and make sure the camera is close to the router during installation. The camera is ready for use in no time. For recording images, you can choose the Imou Cloud service, but also for local storage using a MicroSD card or an Imou NVR.
Smart features in the Imou Life app
- Privacy mode: With one click of the button, the lens disappears and nothing is recorded anymore.
- Notification schedule: Set in which days and times of the week the camera sends notifications.
- Detection region: Select which zone the camera is active for notifications.
- Mirroring image: Activate during ceiling installation for correct image display.
- Smart scenes: Set scenes such as away mode where the camera is fully active if away from home.
- Multiple users: Share the device with multiple users, for example within the household.
