Imou Ranger Dual 5+5MP
The Ranger Dual 5+5MP is an advanced indoor security camera designed to provide complete coverage of a residential environment. The camera features a rotating 5MP lens and a fixed 5MP lens to capture every corner of an indoor space. Additionally, the Ranger Dual 5+5MP boasts advanced AI detection thanks to Imou Sense. With this technology, the camera not only detects people but also pets and abnormal sounds. The Full Colour night vision technology ensures optimal safety, even during the evening hours. Furthermore, the Ranger Dual features two-way communication and an integrated siren to deter unwanted visitors.
2-zone security
Thanks to the dual lens, the Ranger Dual 2 simultaneously protects two zones. The rotating lens can rotate up to 355° and tilt up to 90°. When detected, the lens automatically follows the movement. The fixed lens provides a wide field of view and can be manually rotated. The combination of the lenses ensures complete coverage of an indoor area, experience optimal peace of mind.
Image quality
The 3K, or 5-megapixel, resolution of both lenses produces crystal-clear high-quality images. At the same time, the H.265 image compression technology ensures that high-quality recordings and streams take up relatively little space and therefore require less bandwidth. This allows optimal use of the available storage space and bandwidth. s At night, the Ranger Dual 5+5MP activates infrared night vision, making everything clearly visible in black and white tones.
Advanced AI detection
The Ranger Dual 5+5MP features highly accurate and smart detection thanks to Imou Sense. IMOU SENSE™ is a self-developed algorithm from the Imou brand. With this algorithm, people, vehicles, pets, and packages can be accurately detected, among other things. Thanks to its powerful computing base, the response time of lMOU SENSE™ to detect is only 0.02 seconds; faster than blinking once to detect and then immediately sending a notification.
Baby phones & pets
In addition to securing the house, the camera is perfect to use as a baby monitor or to keep an eye on pets. With the Ranger Dual 5+5MP, you always have a watchful eye and receive an immediate alert if something happens. It is possible to receive an alert as soon as movement or a strange sound is detected. Respond immediately to an event by listening and reacting through the built-in speaker and microphone. There is also a clear image in the dark thanks to the Full Color night vision technology. In short, a great baby monitor or pet camera for the house.
Installation
Download the Imou Life app (iOS, Android or Windows) and create an Imou account. After logging in, select the ””+”” symbol in the top right corner of the Imou app to add a camera. Scan the QR code on the camera and follow the steps in the app. The camera has an embedded 2.4GHz WiFi chip. In addition, the camera also has an Ethernet port for a wired connection. Then select the Wi-Fi network and make sure the camera is located near the router during installation. The camera is ready for use in no time. For recording images, you can choose the Imou Cloud service, but also for local storage using a MicroSD card or an Imou NVR.
Smart features in the Imou Life app
– Privacy mode: With one click of the button, the lens disappears and nothing is recorded.
– Notification schedule: Set up which days and times of the week the camera sends notifications.
– Detection region: Select which zone the camera is active for notifications.
– Smart scenes: Set up scenes such as the absence mode where the camera is fully active when you are not at home.
– Multiple users: Share the device with multiple users within the household, for example.
