Description
A wall bracket with an arm allows you to mount a monitor on the wall, but with the flexibility to adjust the position. The arm enables you to move the monitor forward, backward, tilt it, or rotate it, offering greater versatility and space-saving.
To be sure that a bracket is compatible with a monitor, it is important to check two important points:
- VESA compatibility: VESA is the standard that defines the distance (in millimeters) between the mounting holes on the back of the monitor and the bracket. Both dimensions (horizontal and vertical) must be compared to ensure they match.
Example: If the VESA of the monitor is 500×300 mm and that of the standard is 600×400 mm, they are compatible because the screws can be adjusted horizontally at the correct distance and multiple holes in the screws can be used vertically.
- Weight compatibility: The standard must be able to carry the weight of the monitor without exceeding the maximum capacity.
Example: If the monitor weighs 14 kg and the stand supports up to 12 kg, they are not compatible. On the other hand, if the stand can carry up to 18 kg, they will do so.
