The video intercom, also known as the outside post, is placed on the exterior of the building and allows visitors to contact the residents or staff inside.
In addition to making calls, this intercom can also unlock the door via the built-in relay output — ideal for managing one port or door. Thanks to the integrated access control, users can identify themselves with cards or keychains with MF technology (13.56 MHz).
The system works via IP technology and is powered by an Ethernet cable with PoE support, making additional cabling unnecessary. The physical keyboard makes it easy to call residents or units.
With an IP65 protection class, the device is suitable for outdoor use, resistant to dust and rain.
The intercom offers advanced features such as a Wiegand connection (for external readers) and ONVIF support (for integration with CCTV recorders).
The user can answer calls, open doors, or view live camera footage via the Safire Smart app — anywhere in the world.
