The AJAX MotionProtect is a wireless, intelligent PIR motion detector designed to detect movement indoors with maximum accuracy and minimal false alarms. With a detection range of up to 12 meters and a viewing angle of 88.5° horizontally and 80° vertically, this sensor is ideal for living rooms, hallways, offices, and other security-sensitive spaces.
The advanced digital infrared sensor uses an algorithm that distinguishes human movements from small pets. As a result, movements of animals up to 20 kg and 50 cm in height are ignored – ideal for families with cats or dogs.
The MotionProtect operates on the reliable 868 MHz Jeweller protocol, enabling a wireless range of up to 1,700 meters in open field. The detector is powered by a CR123A battery with a lifespan of 7 years and is equipped with sabotage protection against unauthorized opening or removal.
