NVR is a network video recorder for home and office surveillance. You can connect IP cameras from Ajax (future) or external manufacturers to the device using ONVIF or RTSP.
NVR integrates these video cameras into the Ajax system. The user can view recorded video footage and live video in Ajax apps. The video recorder writes data to a hard drive (not included). The NVR provides users with video alarm verification through freely programmable scenarios.
NVR supports connection via Ethernet with the cameras and the internet. A hub is only needed to add the video recorder to the Ajax system. It is good to know that the NVR does not have PoE network connections for the IP cameras, so a PoE switch is needed.
