Prepare the work

New installation tailored to a VvE

New installation for a VvE starts with the parts that need to change. A video phone provides immediate video and control on a fixed screen, without the need for a smartphone.

At a VvE, visitors must reach the right person and only authorized users should unlock the door. We include call routing, door release and user access in the assessment and agree on the work with board of directors and residents.

What we check and deliver

  • Test image with a visitor at normal distance.
  • Check readability with the usual ambient noise.
  • Open the correct door from any connected monitor.
  • A larger screen does not compensate for an unfavorable-directed outpost.
  • Agree on the work with board of directors and residents.

New installation at a VvE

Let the board or the competent administrator coordinate the order and access. Create a list of affected residences and common areas. Agree on how residents are informed about interruptions and who after delivery manages names, users and changes. For new installation, we first discuss call routing, door release and user access with board of directors and residents. We start with the situation and then only choose equipment and mounting points. Screen size and app features are less important than understandable sound and reliable opening. We also consider how calls reach the right user and the door release has been tested together.

02

What should be clear before assembly? · Real Estate Association

New installation focuses on visitor image, interior monitors, voice connection and door control. First determine the desired operation and check the available connections. Agree on where the new parts come from, how the cables are finished, and which functions the user must be able to operate themselves. Test the chosen configuration before it is difficult to reverse after final assembly. We complete the check against visible visitor image, understandable conversation and the correct door opener per monitor.

03

Is his visitor, conversation and door control usable from the same place?

The outdoor post determines which face is visible; the indoor monitor must be mounted in a well-reachable location. Backlighting near the entrance and annoying ambient noise are assessed separately. Also check whether the existing power supply and door control are compatible with the new equipment. Outdoor post, indoor monitor, cabling, power supply and door opener are tested for compatibility and range. For a VvE, we assess call routing, door release and user access. The key question at this stage is: What should be clear before assembly?

Preparing videophone

Provide the desired number of monitors, a photo of the entrance, and the existing wiring. Indicate whether calls should also be received on a phone. For a VvE, we arrange access with board of directors and residents. First determine the desired operation and check the available connections. Agree on where the new parts come from, how the cables are finished, and which functions the user must be able to operate themselves. Test the chosen configuration before it is difficult to reverse after final assembly. Explain call routing, door release and user access in advance. Send photos of the equipment and connections without showing access codes.

05

Decisions before new installation

A larger screen does not compensate for an unfavorable-directed outpost. Extra monitors can have consequences for nutrition, arteries and call distribution. After inventorying, we establish the cable route, components, scheduling, and fixed price before the technician starts. The choice must suit this situation: At a VvE, visitors must reach the right person and only authorized users should unlock the door. The installation is tested, documented and handed over to the users working on it.

Clear answers

Frequently asked questions

What should I provide for videophone at a VvE?

Provide the desired number of monitors, a photo of the entrance, and the existing wiring. Indicate whether calls should also be received on a phone. Tell us that your request concerns new installation at a VvE. This helps the technician decide what else is needed before an appointment and proposal.

How do you assess new installation?

Screen size and app features are less important than understandable sound and reliable opening. We assess the equipment already in place, record any issues and discuss additional work before carrying it out.

Can existing equipment continue to work with new installation?

A larger screen does not compensate for an unfavorable-directed outpost. We check each component. Send the model details and a description of the existing connection; without these we cannot establish compatibility or the scope of work.

When is the work at a VvE complete?

The monitor is logically placed and the system remains working locally where possible in case of internet outage. We also confirm that calls reach the right user and the door release has been tested together. You receive an explanation of the tested functions and any limitations. We discuss additional repairs separately.
