Calling, speaking, image and opening are tested on all posts and explained to the users.

Can the existing connection carry the new intercom?
Start at the outside post and follow the connection to each inside post. A two-wire connection cannot be treated without inspection as an IP network. Measure the existing route and assess the power supply and door opener together. A call that arrives does not yet prove that speaking and opening also work.
Planning the work
Existing usable arteries can limit the capacity; their condition and system requirements determine whether reuse is appropriate.
A door that mechanically locks cannot be solved by only a new inner post.
Information for a suitable proposal
Photos of outside post, inside post and power supply are more useful than just the name of the building. Note how many devices need to be transferred and whether there are multiple doors.
Checks at handover

Test speaking in both directions.
Check the door opener while the door is actually closed.
