An additional camera is only part of the system when it has accessible images, recording and a clear channel name.
What should be clear in advance
Determine the physical connection, current IP address, available NVR channels, and which user is managing the camera. Compare the data with a channel that already works correctly.
Set without side effects
Add the camera with appropriate access credentials and name the channel after the actual location. Do not change network coverage of existing equipment without a review of the consequences.
