Inventory models, serial numbers, channels, network route, disks, current accounts, and any malfunctions. Also record which image storage and access are already agreed upon.
Create a transfer plan with owner, new administrator, controlled account change and any restoration or replacement actions. Clearly state restrictions if equipment or data are missing.
Check after transfer live image, recording, app accessibility and administrator rights. Provide an up-to-date overview of equipment, contact person and remaining points of attention.
A controlled change is sensible, but first make a recovery and continuity plan.
