Where the function is intended for
A contact sensor, siren or lamp has its own voltage, switching and safety conditions. Connecting a cable to an alarm terminal without a schematic can cause a malfunction or damage.

Using Dahua alarmingang and -outgang
An alarm input or output connects a recorder or camera to external equipment, but is not a universal replacement for a complete alarm system.
Setting or condition
Determine which external device is delivering or receiving a signal, which contact is expected, and which event the action should start. Include power supply and emergency behavior.
Making a conscious choice
Have the coupling performed according to documentation and applicable safety agreements. Choose a separate alarm controller when zones, doorbells, or certification fall outside the camera function.
What you check afterwards
Test the full chain: sensor, event in the recorder, desired action and recovery. Check that normal operation and emergency exit are not blocked by the coupling.

Can I connect a siren directly to each Dahua output?
Not without checking the electrical specifications and required power supply.
Is an alarm output the same as a monitoring room connection?
No. A local relay action and professional forwarding are different functions.
